Pain Medication Detox
The U.S. is in the midst of what many call an opioid epidemic, resulting from prescriptions of opioid pain medications for chronic pain. Opioids can be addictive and have a number of side effects, not the least of which is to make the brain hypersensitive to pain. NP1K therapy is one of the newer treatments for both chronic pain and opioid addiction. It can also be used with a form of treatment called ADF.
Many adults in the US suffer from chronic pain due to musculoskeletal issues such as osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, as well as neurological problems such as migraines. These conditions cannot be cured but must be managed over the long term. Opioids can relieve or reduce pain symptoms, but they are also dangerous and addictive. NP1K is a medication that acts by blocking the receptor cells in the brain to which the opioids attach and prevents the patient from getting the “high” sought by those who are addicted.
